The Gold Bank

When a round ends, every account is wiped and rebuilt - but donated gold you never got around to spending is not thrown away. It is banked for you automatically and waits for the next round.

• Automatic: Nothing to claim or request. When the round closes we take a snapshot and your leftover gold is banked against your email address.
• Withdraw next round: Open the Plus / Gold page in the new round and use the Bank tab. Withdraw any amount, whenever you like - there is no minimum and no deadline.
• It keeps rolling: Gold you withdraw but do not spend is banked again at the end of THAT round, so it never expires as long as you keep leaving it unspent.

Only donated gold is banked - free gold from votes, rewards and promotions is spent first and is not carried over.

• Counts: Gold from your donations.
• Does not count: Free gold: vote rewards, referral rewards, event and compensation gold.
• Spend order: Free gold is always used up before donated gold, so your donated balance is what remains at the end.

Your bank is tied to your registered email address, not to a character name. Register for the new round with the SAME email you used before, or your banked gold will not appear.

• One balance across worlds: The bank is shared between our permanent worlds. The same gold can only be withdrawn once in total, on whichever world you choose.
• Account sitters: Sitters can never withdraw from the bank - only the account owner can.
• Verify your email: Because the bank is keyed to your email, keep your address confirmed and up to date.
