GAME RULES

Nexian - Official Server Rules

§1

Accounts & Sitting

§1.1 One person, one account

You may play only one account on each game world. Controlling a second account on the same world in any way (your own login, as a sitter, or with someone else's password) is forbidden.

§1.2 Teamwork is free

Different players may help each other as much as they like. They may trade, send each other resources, troops and defense, feed one player and play as a team. Some limits are built into the game.

§1.3 Who owns an account

An account belongs to the person who holds its email address. That person is responsible for everything done on it.

§1.4 Playing together

Several people may play one account together. We recommend no more than 2. None of them may also play their own account on that world.

§1.5 Sitters

Each account may have up to 2 sitters. A sitter is a different person who plays their own account and plays the sat account for its owner. While sitting, a sitter cannot send attacks. The game limits what a sitter can send from the sat account and what sitters can do against the accounts they sit.

§1.6 Accounts played only by a sitter

Sitting for each other is fine. But an account that its owner never plays, and only a sitter plays, counts as the sitter's second account and will be banned.

§1.7 Same home or network

Players from the same home, school or office may play. We strongly recommend telling Multihunter once (in-game message) who plays from there. If you don't, our detection may block your accounts and you will have to appeal, which costs everyone time.

§1.8 Inviting friends

Inviting real friends is welcome. Inviting yourself (a second account for the reward) counts as a second account and is forbidden.

§1.9 Selling accounts

Selling or buying an account is forbidden.

§2

Bots, Scripts & Bugs

§2.1 No bots or scripts

Every action in the game must be done by you, by hand. Programs, scripts, browser add-ons or macros that click, send or refresh for you are forbidden. Add-ons that only show information and do nothing for you are allowed.

§2.2 The game's own helpers

Everything built into Nexian (Raid list, Trade routes, Master builder, Wave Builder and the official Nexian tools) may be used freely.

§2.3 Bugs

Using a bug on purpose to gain anything is forbidden, also for a friend. Report every bug to Multihunter (in-game message) or on Discord. Do not share how a bug works with other players. Good bug reports may be rewarded.

§3

Communication & Behavior

§3.1 Respect

No harassment, hate speech or racism, and no insults about religion, origin, gender or similar. This also goes for player, village and alliance names, profile texts and pictures. Rough war talk is part of the game; personal attacks are not.

§3.2 Adult content and sensitive topics

No sexual or adult content (NSFW) anywhere in the game. Please avoid politics and religion.

§3.3 Private information

Never share another person's real-life details (name, photos, address, contacts) without their OK.

§3.4 Pretending to be someone

Tricks inside the game are allowed, for example claiming to be in someone's alliance during a war. Really pretending to be another player, and above all the Nexian team, leads to a ban.

§3.5 Spam

Flooding communication channels or advertising external servers is prohibited.

§4

In-Game Threats vs. Real-World Threats

§4.1 In-game threats (allowed)

Threatening in-game actions for in-game demands (for example "Send me 10,000 crop or I will catapult your village") is part of the game's politics and is allowed.

§4.2 Real-world threats (banned)

Demanding real money, threatening real harm, threatening to publish someone's private details, or threatening hacking or DDoS leads to a permanent ban.

§5

Real-Money Trading

§5.1 No real-money trading

Trading anything from the game (resources, troops, villages, gold, accounts) for real money, gift cards, items in other games or any other real-world payment is forbidden.

§6

Server Downtime & Compensation

§6.1 Downtime

We work to keep the servers stable. If a server goes down or has technical problems, the team may take steps for everyone, for example pausing troop starvation or rolling the world back.

§6.2 Compensation

Nobody has a right to compensation for troops, resources or timing lost to server problems, lag or bugs. When we can, we usually try to help.

§7

Penalties & Enforcement

§7.1 Penalties

Breaking the rules can lead to a warning, removal of resources, troops or gold, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. A banned account's villages may stay on the map as farms.

§7.2 Everyone involved

Every account involved in a violation can be punished, not only the one that was caught.

§7.3 Appeals

To appeal, send an in-game message to Multihunter (this also works while you are banned) or open a ticket on Discord. The team's final decision is binding.
