By accessing or using Nexian (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

§1

The Service

Nexian is a free-to-play, browser-based online strategy game. The game is provided as a hobby project for entertainment purposes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

§2

Accounts

§2.1

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Each person may play only one account per game world. Sitting for another player within the game rules is allowed.

We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts that violate the game rules or these terms.

§3

Game Rules

All players must abide by the Game Rules, which form part of these Terms. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans at the discretion of the game administration.

Virtual Currency (Gold)

Gold is a free in-game currency that can be earned through regular gameplay, including:

Voting for the server on third-party listing sites (up to 500 gold per day).

Completing in-game quests and objectives.

Hero adventures and other gameplay rewards.

Gold is freely available to all players. No gameplay advantage is exclusive to donors.

§5

Donations

Players may make voluntary donations to help cover the costs of running the server (hosting, infrastructure, development time). Donations are processed through PayPal.

§5.1 Important

Donations are voluntary and non-refundable.

Virtual currency has no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash.

In-game gold and all virtual items remain our property and are licensed to you for gameplay purposes only.

All gold (including donated bonus gold) may be reset when a new game round begins.

As a token of appreciation, donors receive a bonus amount of in-game gold. This is a thank-you gift, not a purchase.

Intellectual Property

Nexian is a fan-made project inspired by classic browser strategy games. All original code, design, and content created for this project are the property of the Nexian team.

Certain game mechanics and visual elements are based on publicly available open-source code. Any trademarks or copyrights belong to their respective owners.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use bots, scripts, or automation tools to gain unfair advantages.

Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities (report them to us instead).

Harass, threaten, or abuse other players.

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the server, database, or other players' accounts.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, including loss of virtual items or progress.

§9

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms or the Game Rules. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance.
